Broadway Feature: An Up-Close Look at the Broadway Theatre District with Broadway Up Close
The "Broadway" we know is a product of the 20th Century. Not only has the type of show evolved, the actual physical location of Broadway has changed over time. Originally, Broadway was further south (think "Remember me to Herald Square", by George M. Cohan). I consider myself relatively savvy about Broadway history, but recently I had occasion to look at the Broadway theatre district through fresh eyes, the eyes of a theatre guide from Broadway Up Close. I learned a thing or two.
