(New York, NY –September 13, 2011)  Universal Pictures Stage ProductionsWorking Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment announced today that Myles Erlick and Jack Broderick will join the cast of the 10-time Tony Award winning Billy Elliot the Musical in the roles of ‘Billy’ and ‘Michael,’ respectively.  Erlick, a native of Burlington, Ontario, started his journey as one of the original ‘Billys’ in the Toronto production of Billy Elliot.  He will be the fifteenth ‘Billy’ to perform on Broadway.  Broderick has previously played the role of ‘Michael’ in both the Chicago and Toronto productions of Billy Elliot.  Current ‘Michael,’ Neil McCaffrey will play his final performance Sunday, September 25 at 7:30pm.    And current ‘Billy,’ Giuseppe Bausilio will play his final performance on Sunday, October 9 at 7:30 pm.

MYLES ERLICK (Billy) is 13 years old and from Burlington, Ontario. His training began at Stars Academy and, recently, Canada’s National Ballet School. Myles’ passion for the arts led him to various television and theatre roles, recently as Billy in Toronto’s production of Billy Elliot, an actor on the Canadian TV series “Flashpoint,” and one of four children cast in the Toronto tour of the Charlottetown festival’s Anneof Green Gables. Myles would like to thank his teachers, friends and family who have supported him on his journey to Billy Elliot. He is thrilled to take the stage in this magnificent production and will proudly tell anyone he meets that he was “Born to Boogie!”

JACK BRODERICK (Michael) is thrilled to join the cast of Billy Elliot on Broadway!  Recent credits include Billy Elliot in Toronto and Chicago,Peter Pan at The Paper Mill Playhouse, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular National Tour; TV – “30 Rock;” Commercial – “SunnyD.” Jack is happiest when he is on stage singing, dancing or acting!  Thanks to Nora Brennan, Marianna Karpatova, Parkside Talent and Barry Kolker. Love to his sister Kerry, his parents, family and friends. None of this would have been possible without their support and encouragement along the way!! On Saturday, September 17th Billy Elliot the Musical will hold its second annual open call for Ballet Girls at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W 44th St).  Sign up begins at 10am.  Billy Elliot is on the lookout for dancers with strong tap skills from 8-12 years old to shine as Billy Elliot’s Ballet Girls.  The production is seeking a variety of shapes and sizes (tiny, chubby, lanky, quirky, etc) with expressive character and lots of personality - not your traditional ballerina. 

Want to cut to the front of the line?  Beginning today, Ballet Girl hopefuls can enter to win a priority audition spot and Billy ElliotPrize Pack.  Each week photo entries will be displayed on Facebook.  One winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 14th. (New York, NY –May 23, 2011)  Universal Pictures Stage ProductionsWorking Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment announced today that Giuseppe Bausilio will join the cast of the 10-time Tony Award winning Billy Elliot the Musical in the role of ‘Billy’.  Bausilio started his journey as one of the original ‘Billys’ in the Chicago production of Billy Elliot.  He went on to join the national touring production and has played 'Billy' in 10 cities across the country since the tour began in October 2010.  Bausilio will be the fourteenth ‘Billy’ to perform on Broadway.  Current ‘Billy’ Jacob Clemente will play his final performance Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 7:30pm.  Bausilio’s first performance will be announced soon.

GIUSEPPE BAUSILIO (Billy). Giuseppe is 13 years old from Bern, Switzerland. His parents have two ballet schools and his brother is also a ballet dancer.  Dance became  his passion from a very young age. He is trained in jazz, flamenco, hip-hop, tap and won  dance competitions in Switzerland, France, Italy and the US (Top Three 2011 at world Ballet Competition YAGP). Performed in NutcrackerSleeping BeautyCoppelia at the State Theatre of Bern, and the operas Mazzepa and Falstaff. Giuseppe enjoys cooking, skiing, forging, reading and speaks five languages. Plays Cello, Guitar, Piano and practices Kung Fu. Playing Billy is a dream come true!
