New York, NY (May 21, 2014) – The Original Broadway Cast Recording of the Tony® Award-nominated Best Musical Beautiful – The Carole King Musical has debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Broadway Albums Chart, it was announced today.  The album, released May 13th, is produced by Jason Howland, Steve Sidwell and Billy Jay Stein, with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer.  In addition to its #1 spot on the Billboard Top Broadway Chart, the Cast Recording also came in at #60 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, an album debut that only The Book of Mormon and Kinky Boots have achieved in the last few years.  The Original Broadway Cast Recording is currently available online and in stores.

New York, NY (March 18, 2014) – Ghostlight Records has announced that the Original Cast Recording of the new Broadway hit Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, can now be pre-ordered on iTunes, in advance of a Tuesday, April 1st digital release.  Those who pre-order the album will immediately receive a special advance track of Jessie Mueller's "Will You Love Me Tomorrow."  The album, produced by Jason Howland, Steve Sidwell and Billy Jay Stein, with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer, will be available in-stores on May 13, 2014 and will include a 28-page color booklet with full lyrics, rare and never-before-seen archival and show photos, and liner notes by Beautiful book writer Douglas McGrath.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical follows a formula that we have seen used before.  It was used to tell the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons in Jersey Boys.  Happily, the formula works here as it did in Jersey Boys.  The secret?  The music and lyrics are perfectly laid into a humorous and compact script by Douglas McGrath.

New York, NY (November 19, 2013) – Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today a general rush ticket policy for the highly anticipated new musical Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter. Beginning with the show's first preview this Thursday, November 21st, a number of $40 tickets will be made available for each performance, for purchase day-of at the box office of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street). Tickets are subject to availability, and patrons are limited to two rush tickets per person.  Beautiful – The Carole King Musicalcomes to Broadway on the heels of a sold-out, critically acclaimed World Premiere in San Francisco, and officially opens on Sunday, January 12, 2014.
