Political and Arts Blog, Clyde Fitch Report, Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Do you remember that old Reese's Peanut Butter cup slogan, "two great tastes that taste great together?" That's the Clyde Fitch Report.

The Clyde Fitch Report represents the intersection of politics and culture. It was conceived and started in 2007 by Leonard Jacobs and now boasts 30 writers and 4 editors, all volunteers.

The site has just launched a KickStarter campaign to fund a site-wide tech upgrade, an audience and business development plan and an interactive debate feature called Center Ring, where the site's contributors or the general public can engage in a public forum.

Additionally, the site hopes to begin to provide each of the volunteers with a small stipend. "I think writers should be paid, call me crazy," says Jacobs. "It's not a lot of money, but it's the principal of the thing" he goes on to say in their KickStarter campaign video.

So if you have been looking for a cause to get behind, why not help out an organization that is trying to elevate the discourse on politics and the arts to a higher level. You can find out more information about their campaign here.
