 (New York, NY – May 14, 2012) The 13th Annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, the only major theatrical prize awarded solely by votes cast online by audience members, celebrated Broadway’s best in a star studded ceremony last night at The Allen Room in Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center on Broadway at 60th Street, New York City.  Darren Criss hosted while Nick Adams, Tammy Blanchard, Brian d’Arcy James, Judith Light, Adam Pascal and Daphne Rubin-Vega honored the winners.

SUNDAY, MAY 13, 2012

(New York, NY –April 6,  2012) The 13th Annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, the only major theatrical prize awarded solely by votes cast online by audience members, is celebrating its second live ceremony at The Allen Room in Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center on Broadway at 60th Street, New York City on Sunday evening, May 13, 2012. The ceremony, by invitation only, will feature the presentation of awards in traditional categories as well as several unique to the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards such as Favorite Diva Performance, Favorite Breakthrough Performance, Favorite Onstage Pair, and Favorite Broadway Tour, which allows audience members across the country to cast a vote and have a voice.  All awards are decided solely by the voting of theater fans on Broadway.com.

The 2012 Theatre Awards Season has begun.  Below you will find a summary of announcement dates, presentation dates and press releases from the various theatre awards.   This page will be updated throughout the awards season.

Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center – The Allen Room on Sunday, May 15.  Daniel Radcliffe, a past winner of Favorite Actor in a Play and Favorite Breakthrough Performance for his role in Equus, will kick off the first-ever live Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards ceremony.  Additional past winners Sutton Foster, Gavin Creel, Karen Olivo and Lin-Manuel Miranda join the ceremony as presenters.
