STUDENT LOTTERY TICKETS!

Student Tickets Available to Broadway’s Biggest Night

The 68th Annual Tony Awards

Broadcast Live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS, Sunday, June 8th

New York, NY (June 2, 2014) – The Tony Awards have announced that a limited number of tickets to the 68th Annual Tony Awards will be available to students through a Student Lottery at the Tony Pop-Up Shop on Tuesday, June 3rd. 

 

 

Entries for the 2014 Tony Awards Student Lottery will begin at the Tony Pop-Up Shop at the Paramount Hotel (235 West 46th St at 8th Avenue) on Tuesday, June 3rd at 12:30 PM.  Participants must be current students with a valid student ID. At 1:00 PM, entries will be drawn for a limited number of tickets priced at $40 each (cash only).   Participants must appear in-person at the drawing to receive tickets. Limit one entry per valid ID and two tickets per winner.

The 2014 Tony Awards will broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, on CBS, on Sunday, June 8th 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay) and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

Andrew C. McGibbon

 

Andrew C. McGibbon has spent the past thirty years working in live theatre as a stage manager, general manager, producer and leader in the convergence of Broadway and online.

Mr. McGibbon worked as a stage manager and general manager for ten years. In 1994 he created a website devoted to live theatre, BroadwayWorld-Wide.com. The site was subsequently bought by, and became Playbill.com. He continued to manage the site for Playbill for four years. In 2000 he became the website manager for TonyAwards.com. With the 2008-09 season he finished his ninth year on the show. He has also worked as a webmaster for the Broadway League and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He is presently the Director of Digital Media for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Mr. McGibbon is a member of the American Theatre Critics Association, the Independent Theatre Bloggers Association, AEA and AFTRA.

In addition to his work in the theatrical industry, Mr. McGibbon is also a partner in Simple Solutions Distributing, a manufacturer of filtration equipment for the waste-water industry.
