Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway grossed $1,173,785 during last week’s seven performance week, and opens this Thursday November 10 for a limited engagement through January 1 2012.

He also broke The Broadhurst Theatre box office record last week with a gross of $1,210,974.

Tony Award-winner Hugh Jackman returns to the New York stage for a 10-week engagement in Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street).

Accompanied by an 18-piece orchestra, Hugh Jackman performs a personal selection of his favorite musical numbers that reflect on the stage and film star’s remarkable life and career, from The Boy from Oz to Hollywood.

Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway follows recent sold-out runs in San Francisco and Toronto.    Scott Weigand in the San Francisco Chronicle said “Jackman is a dazzling singer and dancer.  It’s not that they don’t make ‘em like Hugh Jackman anymore – they never did.”

In the Toronto Star, Richard Ouzounian said, “It almost seems illegal that a man this good-looking and charming should be able to sing and act with such skill.  What makes Jackman and his show so spectacular is one word: talent.  The man is an absolute wow.”

The creative team for Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway includes Warren Carlyle (Direction and Choreography), Patrick Vaccariello (Musical Direction), John Lee Beatty (Scenic Designer), Ken Billington (Lighting Design), William Ivey Long (Costume Designer), John Shivers (Sound Design), and Alexander V. Nichols (Projection and Video Design).  Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway is produced by Robert Fox and The Shubert Organization.

For tickets contact www.Telecharge.com, 212 239 6200, or go to the Broadhurst Theatre box office. Tickets start at $68.50, and student tickets are available at every performance.
