Cast members from Broadway’s WONDERLAND, which is now playing at the Marquis Theatre, will be performing at the Tribeca Family Festival’s “Broadway at Tribeca” event on Saturday, April 30 at 11:30am. The event is part of the Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair, an all-day downtown celebration that brings the last weekend of the Tribeca Film Festival to a resounding peak.

WONDERLAND’s Morgan James will perform “Finding Wonderland” and E. Clayton Cornelious, April Berry, Sae La Chin, Mallauri Esquibel, Lauren Lim Jackson, Heather Parcells and Tanairi Sade Vazquez will sing “Advice From a Caterpillar” at 11:30am on the Main Stage on the corner of N. Moore and Greenwich Streets. 

The New York Times calls WONDERLAND “Peppily inspirational.”  “A hummable, cheerful Broadway fairy tale” wrote Bloomberg News.  UPI calls it “A knockout in every way.”  And, the Tampa Tribune wrote “WONDERLAND is fun and entertaining.” 

WONDERLAND – Alice Through A Whole New Looking Glass stars Janet Dacal (In The Heights) as Alice, Darren Ritchie (Little Shop of Horrors, Thoroughly Modern Millie) as Jack the White Knight, E. Clayton Cornelious (The Scottsboro Boys, A Chorus Line) as Caterpillar, Jose Llana (Spelling Bee, Flower Drum Song) as El Gato, Karen Mason (Hairspray, Mamma Mia!) as The Queen of Hearts, Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde, Cabaret, Jekyll and Hyde) as The Mad Hatter, Carly Rose Sonenclar (Les Miserables, Little House on the Prairie) as Chloe, Edward Staudenmayer (Spamalot, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me) as The White Rabbit and Danny Stiles (Guys and Dolls and Sister Act:  The Musical) as Morris the March Hare.  With a book by Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy, lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn, choreography by Marguerite Derricks and direction by Gregory Boyd, WONDERLAND opened at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway between 45th & 46th Streets) on Sunday, April 17, 2011 (performances began Monday, March 21.)

The ensemble includes April Berry, Grady McLeod Bowman, Joey Calveri, Sae La Chin, Mallauri Esquibel, Derek Ferguson, Wilkie Ferguson III, Laura Hall, Natalie Hill, Lauren Lim Jackson, Morgan James, Ryan Link, Kate Loprest, Renee Marino, Heather Parcells, Stefan Raulston, Julius Anthony Rubio and Tanairi Vasquez.

A new spin on the classic story of Alice and her Looking-Glass world, WONDERLAND is about a modern-day woman who goes on a life-changing adventure far below the streets of New York City, where a colorful cast of strange but familiar characters help her rediscover what’s really important. Featuring a fresh, contemporary pop score from the creator of Jekyll and Hyde, WONDERLAND arrives on Broadway this spring following two sold-out national stage premieres.

Tickets to WONDERLAND - A New Alice.  A New Musical are now online or by calling 877-250-2929, and in person at the Marquis Theatre box office, 1535 Broadway between at 46th Streets.  Box office schedule is Monday through Saturday 10am to 8pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm.

Ticket prices range from $49.00 to $132.00.  All prices include a $2.00 facilities fee.  

Performance Schedule:

Performance schedule:  Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm, matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.
