"Christie's Broadway debut in CHICAGO this spring has been nothing short of phenomenal," said producer Barry Weissler. "Her commitment, dedication and passion for conquering new experiences have served her well throughout her career, and her Broadway stage debut is proof positive of that. Our New York audiences are going crazy for her night after night, and I'm thrilled to announce that she will be sharing her remarkable performance with our West End audiences for four weeks this summer."

Celebrated CHICAGO veteran Amra-Faye Wright, who starred opposite Ms. Brinkleythroughout her 11-week run on Broadway, is also set to return to the UK production on July 11 in the role of Roxie's rival prison mate, Velma Kelly.

Brinkley and Wright will be joined by Jonathan Wilkes as Billy Flynn, James Dohertyas Amos Hart, Jasna Ivir as Matron "Mama" Morton and R. Whitehead as Mary Sunshine.

Produced by Barry and Fran Weissler, the West End production of CHICAGO opened at the Adelphi Theatre on November 18, 1997 to rave reviews and immediately became a sell-out hit.  The production won the 1998 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Musical Production and the 1998 Critics Circle Drama Award for Best Musical.

CHICAGO transferred from the Adelphi Theatre to its current home, the Cambridge Theatre, in April 2006, where it continues to hold the record as the longest-running American musical in West End history.
