If anyone is qualified to talk about  A LIFE IN THE THEATRE, it's Patrick Stewart.  He has spent the better part of the past six years working almost exclusively in theatre.  Mr. Stewart is joined by co-star T.R. Knight and direct Neil Pepe at a midtown eatery to discuss working on the play and working with Mr. Mamet.

Who could blame Patrick Stewart for slipping up while he was speaking so eloquently about the theatre at the beginning of this piece.  He, Mr. Knight and Mr. Pepe had just come from a full day of rehearsal to talk to a room full of theatre bloggers.

At the last moment this event was moved to an alternate location.  Unfortunately it was not an ideal location for filming.  We were outdoors and there were air conditioner units, motorcycles, you name it, in the background.  None the less, these three gentlemen spoke eloquently about their experience thus far working on A LIFE IN THE THEATRE with David Mamet.

A LIFE IN THE THEATRE begins performances at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on October 12th and is a limited engagement through January 2, 2011.
