New York, NY - EMURSIVE (Randy WeinerArthur Karpati, and Jonathan Hochwald, principals) announced today that the New York premiere of Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More has extended its run through the Labor Day, September 5, 2011.   The decision to extend was based on the overwhelming demand for tickets, and follows on the heels of rave reviews and a handful of recent honors, including the Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience and the Obie Awards’ Special Citation for Design & Choreography.  The production began performances on Monday, March 7 at The McKittrick Hotel (530 W 27th Street, New York, NY), and officially opened on Wednesday, April 13.

A legendary hotel. Shakespeare’s fallen hero. A film noir shadow of suspense.  Punchdrunk's Sleep No More is an award-winning theatrical experience that tells Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Macbeth through a darkly cinematic lens. Audiences move freely through the epic world of the story at their own pace, choosing where to go and what to see, ensuring that everyone’s journey is different and unique.  No one under sixteen will be permitted.

The creative team features Felix Barrett (Direction and Design), Maxine Doyle (Direction and Choreography), Stephen Dobbie (Sound Design),Beatrice Minns (Design Associate), and Livi Vaughan (Design Associate).

Tickets are priced at $75 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), $85 (Thursday, and late performances on Friday & Saturday), and $95 (regular performances on Friday & Saturday), and are available via sleepnomorenyc.com or by calling (866) 811-4111.  Please note that ticket availability is extremely limited.  A small number of Premium Access Tickets will be reserved for each performance and can be obtained by emailing  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Entry times are as follows: Monday-Saturday at 7:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  There are additional late performances on Fridays and Saturdays, with entry times at 11:00 p.m., 11:15 p.m., 11:30 p.m., 11:45 p.m. and midnight.
