The box office of Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) is now open for the 2010-2011 Broadway season. Single tickets to MTC's upcoming Broadway productions of THE PITMEN PAINTERS and GOOD PEOPLE are available for purchase at the box office.

Single tickets to the MTC's 2010-2011 Off-Broadway productions of SPIRIT CONTROL, THE WHIPPING MAN, and CARL'S SISTER will go on sale starting Tuesday, September 7 at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) or at www.NYCityCenter.org or by calling Citytix(r) at (212) 581-1212.

Manhattan Theatre Club's 2010-2011 Broadway season at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre will feature the American premiere of Lee Hall's THE PITMEN PAINTERS, inspired by a book by William Feaver, and the world premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's GOOD PEOPLE. The Off-Broadway season will include the world premiere of Beau Willimon's SPIRIT CONTROL, the New York premiere of Matthew Lopez's THE WHIPPING MAN, and the world premiere of Alfred Uhry's CARL'S SISTER, based on the book Apples and Oranges by Marie Brenner. A third Broadway production will be announced in the coming weeks.
In addition, Donald Margulies' Tony nominated play TIME STANDS STILL, which enjoyed a sold out run at MTC in the spring, will return to Broadway's Cort Theatre this fall.
