The Theatre World Award Winners were announced today.
The awards ceremony will take place on June 8, 2010
Chris Chalk, currently appearing as ‘Corey’ in FENCES, has won a Theatre World Award for his Broadway debut in the production.
Bill Heck, who made his debut in Signature Theatre Company’s production of Horton Foote’s THE ORPHANS’ HOME CYCLE, has received a Theatre World Award for his portrayal of ‘Horace Robedaux’.
Scarlett Johansson, who earlier this year earned raved reviews in A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE has won for her Broadway debut performance as ‘Catherine.’
Keira Keeley, currently appearing as “Lara Wingfield’ in Roundabout’s THE GLASS MENAGERIE has won a Theatre World Award for her New York debut in the production.
Eddie Redmayne, currently earning raves for his performance in RED has won a for his Broadway debut performance.
Stephanie Umoh has received a Theatre World Award for her Broadway debut in the role of ‘Sarah’ in the revival of RAGTIME.
