Many More to Come

MILWAUKEE – Last spring, Hal Leonard Corporation reached an agreement with Rilting Music to exclusively represent iconic Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim in print. The publishing leader is pleased to announce the release of five new Sondheim editions, commemorating this legend’s 80th birthday.

Revised editions of vocal selections for five mainstay musicals with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim include Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Passion, Sunday in the Park with George, and Assassins.

Each of these songbooks has been given fresh attention by Hal Leonard editors, as well as by Sondheim himself. All titles feature new music engravings, added songs and introductions, and detailed plot synopses.

Hal Leonard is currently at work on new editions of A Little Night Music, Merrily We Roll Along, The Frogs, Pacific Overtures, and Road Show. These Sondheim publications will be released in the coming months.

For more information on Sondheim songbooks or other vocal selections available from Hal Leonard Corporation, please visit your local music retailer or contact Music Dispatch (www.musicdispatch.com, 800-637-2852).
