A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE Wins 2010 Drama League Award for Distinguished Revival of a Play

A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE
RECEIVES DRAMA LEAGUE AWARD FOR
DISTINGUISHED REVIVAL OF A PLAY

The acclaimed Broadway production of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, was recently awarded with the Drama League's award for Distinguished Revival of a Play.  The production, directed by Tony nominated Gregory Mosher starred Tony(r) Award-winner and Tony nominee for his performance Liev Schreiber and Golden Globe nominee and Tony nominee for her performance Scarlett Johansson.

The production ended its limited engagement Sunday, April 4 at the Cort Theatre.

Schreiber and Johansson were joined by Tony nominee Jessica Hecht, Michael Cristofer, Morgan Spector, Corey Stoll, Alex Cendese, Anthony DeSando, Antoinette LaVecchia, Matthew Montelongo, Mark Morettini, Joe Ricci, Robert Turano and Marco Verna.

In A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, Miller's most passionate drama, Schreiber plays Eddie Carbone, a Brooklyn longshoreman obsessed with his 17-year-old niece Catherine, played by Scarlett Johansson. When Catherine falls in love with a newly arrived immigrant, Eddie's jealousy erupts in a rage that consumes him, his family, and his world.

A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE was produced by Stuart Thompson and The Araca Group. Additional producers include Jeffrey Finn, Broadway Across America, Olympus Theatricals, Marisa Sechrest, The Weinstein Company, Jon B. Platt, Sonia Friedman/Robert G. Bartner, Swinsky/Deitch, Adam Zotovich/Ruth Hendel/Orin Wolf, and The Shubert Organization.

The creative team for A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE includes John Lee Beatty (Scenic Design), Jane Greenwood (Costume Design), Peter Kaczorowski (Lighting Design), and Scott Lehrer (Sound Design).
